This is one of the most beautiful times of the year at the Maine Audubon Sanctuary. The meadows are all a riot of yellows and whites and greens and the peony gardens are in full bloom. And our weather has been about as ideal as weather comes: mid-seventies, sunny, low humidity during the days and low 50s at night. It doesn't get much better than this. Enjoy:
Onions are looking good...
...as is the chard
First head of lettuce
A garden neighbor's peony
Ground hog headed for cover
We removed the row cover from the squash yesterday
